Expiry of old passport leads to increase in new applications
With the phasing out of the old passport, the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control, under the Ministry of internal affairs in Kampala, has registered an influx of people applying for the new passports.
In order to address the congestion at the passport office in Kampala, the ministry is advising the public to take advantage of regional offices which are just as efficient and less crowded.
