Oulanyah was rushed to the United States Of America on February 2022. His condition was said to be worrying then. Deputy speaker Anita Among would later tell the parliamnent that Oulanyah was in a better state .
Now claims that Oulanyah was dead have hit social media again. The rumors were sparkled bt an updates on Wikipedia which declared Oulanyah dead.But Parliaments;s Director of Communication Chris Obore says Uganda should “ignore” speculations.
Obore also says that the deputy speaker Among is the only person to inform Mps and public like she did when he was taken to the US with Uganda Airlines.
On march 15, Among suspended the house sine die to check on her biss in the US.Among is expected to give an update on Oulanyah’s health in coming hours or even days.
This is not the first time Oulanyah is announced dead by fake news mongers, weeks ago some people had claimed that the speaker and Omoro County MP had died but these reports were later debunked
