Musician Jose Chameleone has been at the front of Ugandan music for over twenty years and remains very active in the industry.
The singer has asked Sevo’s brother famously known as Toyota to link him to the head of the state.
He explained he has worked tirelessly for the country through music, but he has gained little compared to athletes like Kiplimo and Cheptegei.
“I want you to take me to the president because he has not yet appreciated my contribution to the music industry and Uganda. I have promoted Ugandan culture all over the world, but I have not been appreciated like runners,” he said during a performance at Cubana in Munyonyo.
Chameleone believes he should be recognized by the President just like athletes.
