After the announcement of a new date for the elections of new leaders of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), the incumbent Cindy has promised to give King Saha a position in her cabinet.
“I have no problem working with him. Once I win, I will encourage him to apply for other positions that don’t require voting, we could use some of his ideas. We want to work with everyone who has good plans for this industry,” says Cindy
Cindy is hopeful that she will win.
A week or so ago, the UMA Electoral Commission canceled and postponed the elections after the virtual system was reportedly marred with vote rigging.
Elections will now happen on 28th June at National Theatre Gardens.
