If you can’t mourn with them, at least respect them- Bobi Wine
The National Unity platform president Hon Robert Kyagulanyi says that those who wont mourn the fallen speaker, Jacob Oulanyah should respect other mourners.
While speaking on NTV, Kyagulanyi says people should be allowed to mourn their loved ones honourably.
“If you can’t mourn with them at least respect them. Let them mourn their loved one honourably,” he said.
Yesterday, Hon Kyagulanyi on his social media accounts eulogized the fallen speaker.
“I join the people of Uganda in mourning the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah. On behalf of the @NUP_Ug and on my own behalf, I extend deep condolences to his family, friends, the people of Acholi Sub-region and all Ugandans. May his soul rest in peace,” he tweeted.
The leader of Opposition Mattias Mpuuga also eulogized speaker Jacob Oulanyah saying, “It’s with great sadness that I received the news of the passing of the Speaker @Parliament_Ug, Rt Hon @JacobOulanyah. Deepest condolences to his family, friends, the Parliamentary fraternity, the people of Omoro & @NRMOnline that he served as V/Cman for Northern Uganda,” he tweeted.
The Speaker of Parliament, Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah, died yesterday in Seattle USA. Mr Museveni in a tweet said on Sunday that he got news about Oulanyah’s death at 10.30am.
