On Monday, the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) held its general elections but they were halted before all members could vote.
Voting started as early as 10 am and by 3 pm, Cindy Sanyu was leading with a very huge margin that saw many crowning her the UMA President even before the announcement.
Sadly, King Saha together with his lawyer Erias Lukwago and team members like Feffe Buusi, and Roden Y Kabako expressed their dissatisfaction, claiming that there was rigging.
After short-lived chaos, UMA electoral commission chairperson was forced to call off the polls.
When commenting on the situation, Bebe Cool who endorsed Cindy described King Saha as a hooligan.
“He is just a hooligan but that stupidity will not work,” he said.
The date for re-voting is yet to be communicated
