Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament, Nambooze Betty Bakireke is reportedly stranded after her insurance company ignored her back-to-back calls.
Through her Twitter platform, the MP urged her insurance company to pull up its socks before revealing that they (the company) left her calls unanswered.
The ailing legislator is still at Lubaga hospital as the government plans to airlift her for better treatment in the U.S.
Dear my Insurance company…..pull up your socks….Insurance is supposed to be convenient….How can calls go unanswered …Getting stranded is the last thing a patient deserves. The last time they get to work diligently is during the interviews to get the job!! pic.twitter.com/SCrPvCv1bH

“Dear my Insurance company…..pull up your socks….Insurance is supposed to be convenient….How can calls go unanswered …Getting stranded is the last thing a patient deserves. The last time they get to work diligently is during the interviews to get the job.” Nambooze tweeted on Monday.
Nambooze slipped in the bathroom before sustaining minor injuries. It is said that the MP is experiencing serious pain in her spinal cord following the fall. It is alleged that the Mukono legislator has been unwell for years after being beaten by security operatives during a scuffle in parliament over the age limit discussion.
The government is expected to spend about $180,000 ( UGX 667 million) on Nambooze’s treatment in the United States of America – U.S.
