Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament (MP) Francis Zaake wedded his longtime fiance, Bridget Nnamirembe.
This was at a colorful ceremony held at Kiyinda Mityana Cathedral Church.
They later hosted their guests for the reception at Mityana Emirates Hotel.
A number of influential Ugandans attended the Holy function. Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, was represented by Wilfred Nuwagaba (Ndorwa West).
Shortly after the pair said ‘I Do’, congratulatory messages started flowing in.
However, according to the ruling party’s Director for Communication, Emmanuel Dombo, “In the protracted war of NRM against the bad regimes, the fighters could not wed! Hon Elly Tumwine and others only wedded on return!”
