Nubian Li In Trouble As court Orders Him To Vacate His House, Pay Millions

Court has ordered Fire Base vice president, Bukenya Ali aka Nubian Li to vacate his house in Kulambiro, Kyanja – Nakawa district. Nubian Li bought the house from Kayondo Moses in 2011 and moved in with his family.

According to Kayondo Rose, the wife to Kayondo Moses, the husband sold their plot with a house without her consent and forged her signature.

She says she was the major contributor when they were purchasing that plot in 1998. She revealed that she raised the money through laying bricks in Kyebando. After discovering that Kayondo had sold their house without her knowledge, she dragged Nibian Li to court.

Since 2011, Rose and Nubian have been battling until 2018 when the court ruled that Nubian bought the land illegally and that he should vacate the house.

But Nubian ignored court orders and kept in the house which he has since demolished and constructed a flat. Yesterday, the court ordered Nubian Li to vacate immediately, compensate Rose 26m in damages.

To Rose, she is willing to sell Nubian Li the land but demands 400m.
