National Unity Platform coordinator, Moses Bigirwa has expressed his shock after Bobi Wine and the entire leadership of the party failed to contribute to his wedding slated to happen soon.
Bigirwa said they are aware of his wedding but no attention or assistance has been rendered as it has been with other members.
“We have people who are treated differently in the party. My party has contributed to ceremonies of Joel Senyonyi, Nubian Li, and Frank Zaake among others but they have refused to help me,” Bigirwa said in an interview.
“My introduction and wedding were meant to cost Ugx 95 million but now I have to cut my budget down, ” he added.
“In every function, there are challenges and for me as a politician, I have to target politicians for their contributions. I am no longer following the planned budget,” Bigirwa explained.
He said Bobi Wine is invited to attend the functions along with other members.
