Singer and senior presidential advisor Catherine Kusasira is not happy with the continuous ban put on National Unity Platform (NUP) president (NUP) and singer Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine ruined his music career after he joined active politics.
Police and the military always blocked his shows by denying him approval letters to stage his concert. It became worse when contested to become President of Uganda against Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the 2021 elections.
However, politics ended and Catherine Kusasira thinks it’s the right time for Bobi Wine to be allowed back on stage and continue with his career.
“Politics ended and Bobi Wine has to resume his music career. I believe the reason he was banned from singing was the fact that politics was going on and music was being integrated with politics,” Catherine Kusasira said.
