Tears and grief in the wee hours of Saturday 19th March 2022 morning engulfed the famous Makerere University Community following the demise of one of their fellows who reportedly perished in an road accident.
It’s reported that the deceased is Vanessa Namuwaya, a third year student who was perusing Construction Management at the famous compus and has been a resident of Africa hall.
Information got by this online publication has it that the deceased was involved in a fatal accident at around 5:40am along Garden City round about.
“It’s a very sorrowful morning for us as Makerere University as it dawned on us that two of our students were involved in a fatal accident at about 5:40am along Garden City round about”, our reliable sources confirmed.
It is said that the fatal accident didn’t only take the life of Namuwaya but also left one other student only identified as Davis critically wounded and is now admitted in critical condition.
An anonymous source told this website that the accident happened as the duo was on their way for practicals of survey field on traffic control.
